As of this writing, your Ritual Team has two weeks remaining for practice before they leave for Orlando!
The membership has been wonderful in the support of the team's fundraisers. The team is honored to represent
such a great Lodge at the State Convention.
The current Ritual Team fundraiser is the "gift basket." The drawing
will be held immediately following the Mothers' Day Brunch on Sunday, May 11th. If you haven't gotten your tickets for the gift basket, please
see any member of the Ritual Team. Your reservations for the Mothers' Day Brunch can be made with the bartender in
the Club. Once again, THANK YOU for being so supportive of our Ritual Team!

CINCO de MAYO PARTY!

Wow! What a great time we all had at the Cinco de Mayo party! The food was fabulous, the margaritas were muy bien, and
the donations for dinner were most generous! Thank you to everyone who participated in making this such a successful event.
The Ritual Team would like to especially thank Patrick Flewellen for pitching in and helping in the kitchen and anywhere
else he was needed. Also special thanks go to Regina Balding for making that scrumptious salad, Tracey Austin for donating
her "tips" from the margarita bar, and a major thank you to Lee and Linda Fish for their most generous donation.

Elks Drug Awareness Program
The Elks Drug Awareness
Program has once again teamed with Marvel Entertainment and the federal
government's Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to
bring you the Hard Choices comic book, featuring Marvel Super Heroes -
Spiderman and the Fantastic Four and Elroy the Elk in a battle against
underage drinking!
Hard Choices is designed to
educate fourth- through eighth-graders about the perils of underage
drinking. In October 2007, almost 800,000 comic books were sent to select
elementary and middle schools in Elks communities across the nation. This
year, the comic is available online in digital format! If you have children or
grandchildren that fit this category, or if you are a teacher, please visit:
